i found this article over on a friends blog ,of course i love David Byrne's music, so went on to read what he had to say about crafts, found it so interesting..not new..but food for thought.

maire just alerted me to this post from awhile back during a conversation we were having over email. This is a great article Nan! Thanks for sharing it! I love David Byrne and I wish more artists thought about and discussed the arts in a larger theoretical context.
